The “Arche Herzensbrücke” offers families with seriously ill children a time-out together…

Traditionally, the airport donates the proceeds that come together during group tours over the summer season to charitable causes.

For the year 2018 we have chosen the project “Arche Herzensbrücke”. The non-profit association “Promotional Association for Children’s and Youth Hospice Work” offers families with seriously ill children the opportunity to take time out together.

With the diagnosis of a life-threatening disease in one child, the life of the whole family changes from one moment to the next. In addition to the psychological burdens for parents and healthy siblings, the great concern for the sick child and the difficult situation for the small patient himself, financial hurdles often put the affected families to an additional test.

At the Hotel Solstein in Seefeld, therefore, these families are offered an affordable opportunity to relax together, especially for the needs of seriously ill children.

“We were deeply impressed by the vision of the Ark Heart Bridge. It was therefore of particular concern to us to support the association’s great commitment to seriously ill children and their families with a donation,” says airport managing director DI Marco Pernetta.

Like. Horst Szeli, Managing Director of Arche Herzensbrücken, and Carola Mitteregger, volunteer supporter, received the donation cheque in the amount of EUR 2,000 with great joy.
